The Sinfonieorchester Basel is going on the road with its chief conductor Ivor Bolton. The occasion is the 250th birthday of Ludwig van Beethoven. With his 5th piano concert in its backpack, the Sinfonieorchester Basel will guest-star in Vaduz, Essen and Munich, among others. But before the “Prometheus tour” starts, the orchestra will give a home concert with the pianist Lars Vogt. The pupils of the Orchesterschule Insel will also be present. The Orchesterschule is supported by the Sinfonieorchester Basel in the context of music education.
