Only 127 years old and still too young to dance with the big witches on the Blocksberg on Walpurgis night? Not with the little witch! It comes as it must: she is caught taking part in the festival without permission, and as punishment must prove within a year that she is a good witch. And Otfried Preussler's Little Witch takes this task very seriously. Members of the Sinfonieorchester Basel perform the piece of the same name by Peter Francesco Marino.
