The Sinfonieorchester Basel is on tour in the region. With eight musicians, we visit hospitals, residential homes, retirement centres, schools and other institutions for 60-minute free sing-along concerts. With our most popular Swiss folk songs from all four language regions.
The concerts will be presented and guided by Chiara Selva and Timo Waldmeier. The audience will receive vocal support from the singers of the Mädchenkantorei Basel. The folk song arrangements for octet were created by Florian Walser especially for this project.
