Introduction to the Symphony Concert 'Organ Symphony' on 22 January 2025
In the latest episode of the podcast 'Concert Corner', Benjamin Herzog presents a programme full of contrasts. From Debussy's impressionistic 'Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune' to the world premiere of Dieter Ammann's Viola Concerto and Saint-Saëns' monumental 'Organ Symphony' on 22 January 2025, the programme will be conducted by Fabien Gabel, who will be making his debut with the Basel Symphony Orchestra. The soloists will be Nils Mönkemeyer (viola) and Christian Schmitt (organ).
