In the 2021/22 season, the Mädchenkantorei Basel celebrates its 30th anniversary. When asked to choose a theme for a new choral work with orchestra to mark the occasion, the young singers wanted a project that would reflect and echo their voices politically, socially and individually. The result is a work for women's voices in several movements, which in many different ways brings to life the life of women in Basel and Switzerland in the past, present and future. This season, the anniversary concert, which had to be postponed until 2021/22, will take place on International Women's Day.
