Fans of opera and operetta will appreciate the program of this year's Silvesterkonzert: On New Year's Eve, well-known arias, duets and opera choruses will be heard at the Stadtcasino Basel. These vocal gems will be presented by hand-picked opera stars: In addition to the soprano Daniela Fally, who delights at the Wiener Staatsoper with her bell-like and virtuoso voice, the tenor Daniel Behle, who lives in Basel, will also perform a few samples from the operettas he has composed himself.
We are also looking forward to the Basel debut of the young Bulgarian conductor Delyana Lazarova.
