Exoplanets

As part of its Swiss premiere, Rob Laidlows work Exoplanets allows audiences to discover the sounds of fascinating celestial bodies in an audiovisual performance.

Exoplanets are extreme places: vast, serene, intense, ancient and fantastic. The  Sinfonieorchester Basel is treated as a cosmic experiment, developing original sounds, structures, harmonies and textures based on these exoplanets. Artificial intelligence is also used in this creative process to explore radical new avenues.

In cooperation with and as part of the Interfinity Festival.
