A cinematic experience with live music

Since 1929, the Oscars have honoured the crème de la crème of the film world – and since 1935, their music too. On this special concert evening, listen to melodies that have made film history and touched hearts around the world.

The programme includes legendary soundtracks that have been crowned with Oscar nominations or awards. Each of these compositions tells its own story – in melodies that get under your skin. The works are accompanied by a carefully coordinated selection of film scenes and images on a big screen – for an immersive, synaesthetic experience that appeals to several senses at once.

From the majestic sounds of Lawrence of Arabia to the dramatic and subtle tones of Schindler's List, from the adventures of Robin Hood and Star Wars to the romantic moments in Atonement – this evening is a tribute to the greatest emotions in cinema history.
