Musicians from the Sinfonieorchester Basel play side by side with the Thierstein Fiddlers. The string class at Thierstein Primary School was launched in 2020 as a collaboration between the Sinfonieorchester Basel and Thierstein Primary School. Since then, every child at the school has had the opportunity to learn a string instrument and become part of the Thierstein Fiddlers. The highlight at the end of each school year is a concert performed by the pupils together with musicians from the Sinfonieorchester Basel. This year's concert will bridge the gap between classical and pop music. The audience can look forward to well-known hits from both worlds.
