Relaxed Performance

The chamber music series “Relaxed Performances” is aimed at all people with and without disabilities who benefit from a barrier-free environment and feel comfortable in a relaxed and informal concert atmosphere.

In addition to accessibility, there are no strong lighting effects or loud noises. A quiet room is provided where people who need a break can retreat. Greater freedom of movement is guaranteed in the auditorium and a variety of freely selectable seating options are available. The doors remain open at all times. Assistance animals are allowed in the hall.

A brass quintet from the Sinfonieorchester Basel invites the audience on a musical journey through time, place and genre. From Bach to the Beatles, it's all there: lively melodies, jazzy rhythms and lovely harmonies.

Light, airy music from Tchaikovsky’s «Nutcracker-Suite» tr meets a calm, somewhat melancholic winter tango by Piazzolla.

Admission is free.
But: you need a ticket.
