Relaxed Performance

The ‘Relaxed Performances’ chamber music series is aimed at everyone, with or without disabilities, who benefits from an accessible environment and feels at ease in a relaxed and informal concert atmosphere.

In addition to ensuring accessibility, the programme avoids intense lighting effects or high volumes. A quiet room is provided where people who need a break can retreat. Greater freedom of movement is guaranteed in the auditorium, and a variety of seating options are available for the audience to choose from. The doors remain open at all times. Assistance animals are permitted in the auditorium.

Eight cellists from the Sinfonieorchester Basel take the audience on a winter journey of sound, blending fairy tales and passion. The dazzling lightness of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite merges with Piazzolla’s melancholic Winter Tango.
