The chamber music series “Relaxed Performances” is aimed at all people with and without disabilities who benefit from a barrier-free environment and feel comfortable in a relaxed and informal concert atmosphere.

In addition to accessibility, there are no strong lighting effects or loud noises. A quiet room is provided where people who need a break can retreat. Greater freedom of movement is guaranteed in the auditorium and a variety of freely selectable seating options are available. The doors remain open at all times. Assistance animals are allowed in the hall.

In this edition, a trio from the Sinfonieorchester Basel consisting of harp, cello and flute takes the audience on a journey from Paris to St. Petersburg with works by Mikhail Glinka, Claude Debussy, Pjotr Iljitsch Tschaikowski and Maurice Ravel.

Free admission, ticket required.

The musicians play the harp, cello and flute.
The music takes the audience on a journey from Paris to St. Petersburg.
There is music by Mikhail Glinka, Claude Debussy, Pjotr Iljitsch Tschaikowski and Maurice Ravel. The music combines two styles. The music from France sounds light and dreamy. The music from Russia sounds calm and somewhat sad.
