Music education

Music education plays a central role in the work of the Sinfonieorchester Basel. Our aim is to inspire future audiences for classical music, to introduce lesser-known works to adult listeners, and to offer people of all ages new approaches to familiar works. In collaboration with experienced music educators, musicologists and artists from other disciplines, we develop new, creative programmes each season, tailored to the different needs of our audiences.
