Side by Side <Klassik meets Pop>

Musicians from the Sinfonieorchester Basel play side by side with the Thierstein Fiddlers. The string class at Thierstein Primary School was launched in 2020 as a collaboration between the Sinfonieorchester Basel and Thierstein Primary School. Since then, every child at the school has had the opportunity to learn a string instrument and become part of the Thierstein Fiddlers. The highlight at the end of each school year is a concert performed by the pupils together with musicians from the Sinfonieorchester Basel . This year's concert will build a bridge between the genres of classical and pop music. The audience can look forward to well-known hits from both worlds.
