Jan Lisiecki interprets Robert Schumann’s Piano Concerto with great poetry and subtle nuances, whilst works by Kaija Saariaho, George Crumb and Maurice Ravel take the listener’s longing right to the edge of the abyss. Anna Sowa’s ‘μ-Cephei’ also marks the first world premiere in the new ‘Bonus Tracks’ series. Benjamin Herzog presents the programme, with principal conductor Markus Poschner at the podium.
