In her work, Austrian writer Eva Menasse constantly returns to the connection between language and music. She has won many awards for her novels, among them the Heinrich Böll Prize for Quasikristalle and the Austrian Book Prize for Tiere für Fortgeschrittene. She lives in Berlin.
