This Second Picnic Concert is going to be a particularly rhythmic affair: the Sinfonieorchester Basel’s percussionists will let rip in the inner courtyard of the Museum of Cultures, performing works by John Cage – and jazzier influences like Pierre Favre. There will also be regional specialities. Don’t miss Domenico Melchiorre, the SOB’s solo timpanist, presenting his own work!
