We were very pleased and touched by the many votes and feedbacks in the survey of the music magazine Concerti for the 'Audience of the Year 2021'. Thanks to your support, the Sinfonieorchester Basel was by far in first place in the online voting. We would like to thank you most sincerely for this with a concert of your favourite music. On 8 March 2023, the first request concert with the Sinfonieorchester Basel will take place at the Stadtcasino Basel. Twenty 'hits' of classical music were put to the vote, from which we will perform the five most frequently mentioned works. Artistic Director Hans-Georg Hofmann and Radio France-moderator Benjamin François will lead through the request concert. Chief conductor Ivor Bolton will conduct.
